And This One Belongs to the Reds...
So Mike Kuntz, Chris, Isaac, and I all headed out to the Great American Ballpark today (what a great name for a ballpark...) to see the Reds battle the Huston Astros. Last night, the Reds finally put a stopper to the long losing streak with a win of 3-2. I was worried that today, since they won last night and the fact that the Reds have tendency of losing when I go, they would dissapoint me today. But lo and behold the home runs by Willy Mo Pena and (my new favorite) Joe Randa helped secure a win. Joe had a terrific day, again, and Willy Mo's homer was 498 yrds long. It would have gone longer if it had not been stopped by the back wall of the ballpark stands. I was a little anxious when Dave Miley put in Danny Graves at the end, while Ryan Wagner had done a terrific job, but the decision worked out and the Reds beat the Astros 6-5 at the top of the ninth. Exciting game and day today. All of our arms were burned badly, and our faces are bright red. But all for the best cause my Cincinnati Reds are now 6-5 just like the end of todays score. The Cards are only one game up. We'll see 'em again soon. I ate a hot dog for all of you that couldn't be there with us. Peace out, Michael
