The Sentencing: Modern Day Righteousness

“Today! My brothers and sisters, we can no longer tolerate social strangulation's by corruptible ideas. No! Not today. For today is a momentous day. Today is day of constitution, contraction, revolution, and evolution. No longer shall we be oppressed, depressed, or suppressed by immorality which seeks to break the traditions we hold dear and bind us to new.
"No longer will we be subjected to hypocrisy. They say we are evil when we ban works of pornography and violence from our schools and libraries, yet when it comes to our courts, the word God is offensive? We shall not stand for this any longer!
“Today we shall rise to the occasion and stand before the likes of God with righteous determination. We shall vanquish the enemy within. Down I say!

"One day the poor will reap the rewards in the Kingdom, but this day, here and now, is not that day. Today, the poor shall have none of mine, unless it comes from collection of our weekly tithes.
"I say, the meek, they’ll be sure to be the strong one day. Today is not that day.
"Those who are sad at the state we are in will once again rejoice, and those who have been craving real justice will have their desire appointed.
But that is all brothers and sisters. The rest of those beatitudes need not apply. They are no longer welcome here in our eyes. There will be no mercy, for the peacemakers should have stayed home today! We are the clean of heart, though after today, when the blood runs on the hilly flanks of Gomorrah, our hearts will remain pure for our cause is righteous. May the man who suffers for the unrighteous cause, bear his own supposed, bleeding heart, cross and be buried upon it. He shall see what Kingdom lays in store for him.
“What do you say my brothers and sisters? What say you mob mentality? Shall we let the meek inherit the earth? Or shall we rise up together and end this now? Speak now, for that time has come. Who shall I give to you, Martha Stuart, the executives of Tyco, and Enron or the corrupters? What say you?”
“The Businessmen!”
“And what are we to do with these disruptors, these corrupters, despicable heathenistic no-good-nics?”
“Crucify them!”
“And what of Martha Stuart and the executives? What shall we do with them?”
“Set them free!”
“On the air we shall politically crucify our enemies and sanctify our friends. So be it as it should be!”
