Well, evidently tomorrow I will no longer be car-less folks. [gives adequate time for deep relieving sigh] Yes, it came to my attention today that there was a car for sale within my own family. My father had lunch with his brother this afternoon, my Uncle Bob, and he is looking to get rid of his older vehicle. He has about five cars in his driveway and the insurance is just too damn much. Yup, so it was an incidental thing mentioned briefly to my father, in case Steven (a younger sibling of mine getting his license in December) wanted to pick up something cheap. So, since I am available now, I am getting my Uncle's truck for five hundred dollars. It's a kind of beat up old thing with 150,000 miles on it. But it is a Toyota and my uncle is very frugally natured. So what ever, I'll take what I can get. I cannot be picky right now. I still want the Mx-6, but that will have to wait until I am a wealthy man. If I were a rich man... Anyway, just thought I'd share, but I'm done with that now. I'll take pics of it later.
Peace out peoples,

what's so special about that mx-6? by the time you can afford it, that one's probably going to be gone, and the chances of finding another one in good shape probably isn't that good. There's plenty of other cars out there
and your a jerk...
I jest I jest...
but seriously...
Nothing was that great about it really, i guess... but I did have my heart set on it...
"Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams."
stop treading on my Mx-6 floor mats chris...
*sigh*
ha ha ha ha
whoa man... i wasn't trying to tread on your dreams, just wondering why you were so set on it. simma down now (you can't really type that out the way you say it). i liked it too, though i've gotten used to the room in a sedan. I still have my dream cars too though.... someday....
Hahahahaha - I put that

...in a Valentine card once; the boyf was deeply, deeply impressed. I think he thought I wrote it myself - ahahahahahahahahah!
Woooo - new car! Who cares what its like as long as it gets you where you want to go. There's plenty of time for all that classic car collecting when you hit middle age and have so much cash you don't know what to do with it -grin-
ah yes... I guess... yes...
if it were my dream car, i guess it shouldnt be set to such low standards as that, but for a realistic car for me to pine for, then why not....
I mean i'm not any financial giant, if I was even half that, i should probably go for the Mx-8
now that car is sweet
ha ha ha, he actually thought you wrote that? Wow! ha ha ha
Yeah! He really did think so. 'mazing, no? -grin-
I want a fuckin' VW bus. Or one of those silver bullet things, so I can head out of a hhhhhuuuuuuggggeee road trip....ahhhhhh...that would be fuckin' awesome...
huge road trip in England?
um, that's not that impressive, if so...
no hippie cars for me either, thanks
No, not in England! -grin- I was thinking about South America or something. Or maybe Oz, if I like it when I go (ah! Three weeks and counting....)
ah... you want to get one then... I guess that'll be alright then...
