Drunken Philosophies and Rantings

So, football is over now and spring training has just begun. Augh! I can't wait for the season to begin so the stupid radio stops talking about the goddamn Olympics. I can't wait till I can hear the games broadcast on the radio once again. I just can't wait to hear, "And this one belongs to the Reds..." again.
It's not like football, where one really has to see the game to understand what's going on. Baseball is a perfect match for the radio, and with a little imagination, Marty and Steve can make the ballgame as real as need be while I work. I miss listening to the games while driving my car or throwing screws into drywall. It's just a few more weeks away.
I don't think the Reds have a shot this year at the playoffs, but the direction they've been heading since new ownership is hopeful, and I might even go see a game or two this year if I can. Even if I stay close to home, this year won't be like last year, where I visited All American ten times. It's just too damn expensive (no not the tickets, but everything else is)... Anyway, I am excited to see what may happen and hope for the best.
Peace out peoples,

You know... it doesn' have to be expensive. It's just that you keep buying those $6 beers all the time. I never spend much when I go to a game...

Ah, but even the pepsi is f-ing expensive...
okay, maybe it's the tickets too...
sometimes I went a little overboard, like on Danny's Birthday...
So, you're saying I should get really drunk before or after the game then?
