It is like owning a new computer. Wow. I used to only have three or four gigabytes of space left on my computer, but after the virus shutdown/complete crash of my system and re-installation of windows and all of its components (which took my the whole day to reconfigure), I have twenty five gigabytes of free space left. What a difference it makes as far as the speed of which my applications open and close. But at what cost you may ask. Well, at the cost of everything I have ever written (school and fiction), taken a picture of, or downloaded has been erased. It's like the past two years of my life was wiped away just like that. Good thing I saved backups on disks, right? Wrong. Jesus Christ was I retarded. I do have a few things backed up, but on the whole it is not enough. Luckily, some of my fiction is still posted on here and for the next few days I will be doing a lot of cutting and pasting. I still have most of my pictures on disk or scattered across the internet as well. Yet, there were many things I didn't have backed up and this is my fair warning to the rest of you of two things you should take a moment to do right this moment. First, go ahead pull out a disk and save anything you would want to keep if this should ever happen to you (and it will eventually, right?). This could be done once a month (just reformat the disk) and you'll never have any problems like I am going to have (and have had). Second, make sure your anti-virus protection, spyware, and ad-ware is up to date. I didn't know this but everything on the internet is dirty anymore and I lacidazically let mine slip to outdated modes. Keep these products on automatic update as well and preform sweeps weekly. I also have been informed that a explorer called "firefly" is supposed to cut down on all the mal-ware because the Microsoft explorers are too much in use and therefore more susceptible to this shit... Anyway, I am going to get back to my crying and whining while trying to find more of my shit spread cross the net. 'Sides, I'm tired of talking to you fuckers anyway.
Peace out peoples,

4 Feedback:
MySpace is being a barstard and not letting me get to my mailbox *sigh*
What I was trying to say was something like:
Have you really resigned? Is that grumpy git still being horrid? Bosses are evil and I've been waiting to get fired all week (looooong story); Haagen Dazs Cookies and Cream is the best; was your computer a laptop? Because laptops are the root of all evil; I haven't had a cigarette in EIGHT DAYS and am subsequently in the running for the most volatile person on earth...
I haven't resigned, i've just taken a leave of absence for yesterday and today...
I haven't had a cigarette in about twenty minutes... GAR!
I like the Homemade version of the ice cream (that and Cherry Cordial as well)...
Ah...and are you a fan of Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough too? *drools*
God, I love that stuff...
I do like the Cookie dough every once in a while...
